My favorite exercise and greatest success was all about the lighting, and the color technique. After I was finished, the only question on my mind was who are these soldiers.
In this next exercise all I had to do was take the picture of the lady and place it in the art gallery. Now all I wish is that I knew what the painting of the lady was called.
This problem was solved by simply darkening the shadow of the picture and then clearing away some of the damage, like the cracks and cresses. This picture was cool, but I thought it looked a little strange. It looks as if it was a runner up to be a picture on Tim Burton's photoshop website for wholesome families.
In this one all I had to do was just clear away some of the damage, and then repair some of the frame and others parts. This is where my success starts to wain. I do wish that I knew more about who Mickey Mantle was but oh well.
In this picture I tried to photoshop most of it. Then I created a completely knew outer body covering, as I call it. It just goes down from here. This picture really caught my attention on wondering who on earth is this person.
In this picture, I completely relied on photoshop. That really solved every problem with this picture, at least I thought so. This ending result was really bad when compared to the others, but I was falling behind schedule. To be honest, I had to make the finishing touches at the last minute. I would also be interested in knowing what year this picture was taken, or even where it came from.
This was my least favorite of the exercises, but photoshop was the only tool I needed to repair this picture as well. Once again I thought it was at the time. This is not my best effort, but once again, time was of the essence. On a different note, they make me think of them as an off, mismatched couple of Colin Clive and Ingrid Bergman. This would make sense, seeing is how theirs smiles makes it appear that they are only acting as if they love each other.
This was the first exercise of Quarter 4. The information said that we could use any of the tools we had learned about. This led me to simply use the clone stamp tool. I copied the right image to the left. Maybe I didn't give too much effort, but when compared to its original form, I think it worked. On a side not, who are these people? The man seems to be a teacher of some sort, but the woman looks like the actress that didn't get casted to play Mena in Nosferatu, the german rip off of Dracula from 1922. Its as if this is her way of expressing her sorrow for not being in the movie. Oh well.
The second of the Quarter 4 exercises. Once again I'm at a loss in wondering who this guy is. The walk way at the beach I get, but who is the guy that was put in the picture? I guess I'll never know. Does that bother me? I would have to say no, no it does not. Again this may not be my best work, but I think I pulled it off, to at least a minor extent. Its better than some of my others anyway. This is my last exercise so goodbye.
